These monthly figure drawing classes are opportunities explore a plant's energy and medicine through the kinesthetic process of observing and rendering. There is no expectation of realism, rather each artist is encouraged to find their own voice in their creative process. Inspired by figure drawing, we will begin with gesture drawings and move into a longer pose with our plant model. Unlike a traditional figure drawing class, we'll slip a plant meditation between these exercises!

Alongside artistic support, we will share about the ecology and medicinal properties of our plant. You'll leave with your artwork, a new understanding of our plant model, and a your own materia medica sheet.
